Certification

Here’s the thing about fire safety testing: It’s not exciting, but it’s absolutely necessary.

Because no manufacturer wants to be the one whose candles caused a problem. Our candle fire safety testing follows EN 15493:2019 and UK General Product Safety Regulations. That’s the proper way to do it, not the “hope for the best” approach that some people seem to favour. The process is thorough because it needs to be.

Our lab team tests everything that matters: burn rates, flame behaviour, container integrity, the works. It takes time, but skipping it isn’t an option if you want to sell through retailers or sleep well at night.

Pass the test, and you get the paperwork that proves your candles won’t cause problems. Fail it, and you get to fix whatever’s wrong before anyone finds out the hard way.

It’s not glamorous work, but it’s the difference between being a proper candle business and being a lawsuit waiting to happen. Because compliance isn’t optional, and “probably fine” isn’t a fire safety standard.

Soot Candle Testing

We conduct rigorous testing aligned with EN 15426:2018 and UK General Product Safety Regulations because meeting standards isn’t optional, it’s the bare minimum.

CLP Safety Data Testing

EN 15494 standard demands specific pictograms and safety statements on every candle product. Not most of them. All of them.
