Our candle fire safety testing follows EN 15493:2019 and UK candle regulations including General Product Safety Regulations. That’s the proper way to do it, not the “hope for the best” approach that some people seem to favour.
The candle testing procedures are thorough because they need to be. Our lab team tests everything that matters: burn rates, flame behaviour, container integrity, soot candle testing, the works. We also handle CLP safety data testing because fire safety compliance means covering all the bases, not just the obvious ones. It takes time, but skipping it isn’t an option if you want to sell through John Lewis, Selfridges, or any major retailer or sleep well at night.
