Founded in 2013 Stennah & Hope was born from a profound need to streamline the process, inject honesty and transparent manufacturing into the fragrance industry.
Too many brands operated in willful ignorance, having no idea what entered their products because they created nothing themselves. When Boyowa had his own brand, he felt isolated from the very candle manufacturing process that defined his product – knowing only what he was told, never what was real.
This couldn’t continue. The business grew methodically, one brand at a time, until within eighteen months, production escaped the kitchen for a friend’s disused barn in North London.
The arrival of that first professional wax melter from the US remains etched in memory - The day everything changed.

2016 marked total commitment. Full-time dedication. A self-contained unit helped accelerated growth through strategic acquisitions of well-known UK candles brands, expanding into diffusers and sprays.
The move to our railway arch in Hoxton brought permanent staff and exceptional turnaround times. Surrounded by like-minded businesses, new practices emerged, different ingredients integrated, more brands joined the fold—all part of our innovation in candles and our growth journey.
